Last Thursday at 4:45 p.m. La Loche RCMP were notified by EMS of a fight at a home that sent a 42-year-old woman to hospital.

RCMP say the victim succumbed to her injuries in hospital in Saskatoon the next day.  As a result of the investigation, 58-year-old Glenda Piche of La Loche has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Glenda Piche was remanded into custody and will appear in court in La Loche on Tuesday.
