The Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canadian Women’s Curling Championship, continues today and runs through Sunday in Calgary. A total of 18 teams are taking part…13 provincial or territorial champions plus four wild-card teams and the defending champions as Team Canada. The teams are split into two pools of nine teams each for preliminary round-robin play. Saskatchewan is represented by the Skylar Ackerman foursome from the Saskatoon-Nutana club. They have 4 wins, 4 losses…good for 5th place in Pool A. They are done their preliminary round schedule and have today off.
