–Original Story–
A northern Saskatchewan RCMP detachment is looking for a stolen spike belt.
Pinehouse RCMP says it is one of several items missing from one of its vehicles during a regular equipment check.
Further investigation determined that a male suspect dressed in all-black clothing approached police vehicles in the Pinehouse detachment parking lot early on the morning of February 15th.
The suspect tried to break into a toolbox on one vehicle. After failing there, he had better luck on the toolbox of another RCMP vehicle. A spike belt, flares, a prybar and winch controls were stolen.
The spike belt is in a black plastic case and has a label with the word “Stinger”. (a photo is below)
Pinehouse is located about 500 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
