At 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Saskatoon Police responded to a call of a motor vehicle collision with a train at Jamieson Street and Avenue C North. Officers on scene saw a taxi with damage to the passenger side, and the cab driver who was uninjured.

The investigation suggests the cab got stuck on the tracks from the snow. When the cab became unstuck it struck the train passing by. There were no tickets issued by the Saskatoon Police Service, however the investigation has been turned over to CP Police.
