An investigation by the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team has resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old Saskatoon man. Around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday officers initiated what is described as an enforcement action on a man they believed was trafficking methamphetamine. He was arrested in the 400 block of 5th Avenue North after a brief foot pursuit.
Police say they seized 347 grams of methamphetamine from his person as well as 88 grams of cocaine $120 in Canadian currency.
The suspect has been charged with two counts of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
