A man who ran for Mayor of Saskatoon in the last election has decided to run again. Cary Tarasoff announced his intentions on social media today (Mon). He realizes April Fool’s Day may be an odd day to announce his candidacy but in his opinion Saskatoon’s taxpayers have been fools for the past seven-and-a-half years, paying for endless projects that don’t benefit our lives. Tarasoff will confirm he is running for Mayor in June.
In 2020, Tarasoff finished fourth out of six candidates. For those who follow civic politics, you may recognize Tarasoff as someone who has been a vocal critical of City Hall on social media and appearing before Council to speak about various issues.
