Two people have been arrested and charged with 1st degree murder from a Saskatoon Police Service investigation.
Around 12:30 in the morning on February 17th, patrol officers responded to an injured person in a home in the 200 block of Avenue I South and found a 48-year-old-man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after he arrived. Police reported at the time that the victim and suspect knew each other.
On Wednesday, the RCMP’s North Battleford Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team arrested a 37-year-old man in the city, because he was wanted on warrants for beach of probation. Saskatoon Police then charged him with first degree murder. And on Thursday, a 34-year-old man was also arrested and charged with first degree murder. Both men appear before a Justice of the Peace Thursday night.
