A fundraiser gala for The Hospice at Glengarda will have all white decor with everyone wearing white.
Rhonda Vogelsang with Women in White YXE describes it as a beautiful and elegant evening with dinner and dancing, and a silent auction, all to support a great cause.
She explains that Women in White YXE began prior to the pandemic as a chance for entrepreneurs to get together and help the community.
There were two annual fundraisers in 2018 and 2019, and this is the first year back – this time supporting The Hospice at Glengarda.
Vogelsang has personal experience with The Hospice.
She says her mom stayed there for three months prior to her passing in March and she couldn’t have had better, more attentive care with a holistic approach.
Vogelsang knew in those first days of her mom’s stay that she would find a way to give back.
She was impressed that they not only take care of the residents, but they also check in with the families as well, asking if there is anything they can do for them.
Tickets are available now for the Women in White YXE Gala, which is Thursday, June 20th at the Barn at Wind’s Edge, with dinner, a dance, entertainment, a silent auction and 50/50 tickets.
