A teenager was stabbed around 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon in downtown Saskatoon.
Police responded to reports of an altercation on the sidewalk near 21st Street East and 2nd Avenue South. They located a 15 year old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Royal University Hospital and is in stable condition.
During the police investigation, officers were able to obtain video evidence and identify a suspect. The victim and suspect were not known to each other.
Members of the Bike Patrol located and arrested the suspect Monday evening. A 24-year-old man is facing charges of aggravated assault and breaching his court ordered conditions.
