Hopefully there were some battery backup alarms for those who wake up to an electric clock in the Mayfair or Hudson Bay Park areas. Saskatoon Light & Power reports that there was a power outage in parts of the Mayfair and Hudson Bay Park neighbourhoods this morning (Mon), which lasted for about an hour-and-a-half. The power was out north of 33rd Street, affecting 1,284 customers. The outage began around 6 in the morning and it was restored at 7:30. The City of Saskatoon’s website says the cause of the outage is undetermined at this time.
