Saskatoon Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance just before midnight on Sunday.

When officers arrived to the 1000 block of Baltzan Boulevard in Evergreen, officers report there was a woman on a balcony which was located above the door. Following several unsuccessful attempts to get inside, police breached the door.

Officers say there were signs consistent with a struggle inside and a man was found who had attempted to hide.

A 24-year-old was arrested and charged with assault and failing to comply with court-ordered conditions. The woman was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
