Four people are facing numerous charges in connection to a Saskatoon Police investigation into a stolen vehicle. Just after midnight Tuesday, officers responded a stolen vehicle in progress in the 300 block of Pendygrasse Road, and found the victim, who was uninjured. Patrol officers then found both the stolen vehicle and the suspect vehicle driving Eastbound on 11th Street. Both vehicles evaded police.
Officers report that a tire deflation device was successfully deployed on the stolen vehicle, but it still sped off at a high rate of speed. Police report that meth, fentanyl, multiple knives and a canister of bear spray were seized. The suspect vehicle was also located and two more people were arrested. A firearm, knives as well as a variety of controlled substances were seized from the second vehicle.
Three men, 31, 36 and 38-years-old, and a 16-year-old-girl are facing charges relating to robbery, firearms, theft over $5,000, possession of a controlled substance, evading police and dangerous driving.
