Around 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon Smeaton RCMP requested public assistance in finding missing 85-year-old Donald Sussums of the Choiceland area.

His vehicle was found at approximately 1:00 p.m. Saturday on a quad trail, 14 kilometres north of Choiceland.

Around 8:00 p.m. Sunday night Mr. Sussums was located, and he had died. After initial investigation, Smeaton RCMP believes his death to be non-suspicious in nature.

Smeaton RCMP thanks the emergency responders and volunteer searchers for their assistance.
