A fire investigator is on the scene of a garage fire from Monday morning in the 300 block of Avenue U South.

Responding firefighters could see smoke and flames coming from a detached garage when they arrived.  Fire crews were able to completely extinguish the blaze after getting the call at 9:48 a.m.

There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters and the fire investigator is working to identify the cause and origin of the fire, as well as provide a damage estimate.
