The Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit says in a social media post that their officers pulled over a vehicle on Circle Drive near Valley Road on Friday (May 24) driving more than 60 kilometres an hour over the posted speed limit.
The vehicle was clocked at 153 km/h in a 90 km/h zone. The police allege the driver, whose license was disqualified and suspended, switched places with a passenger to avoid detection.
The driver was issued more than a thousand dollars in tickets and left with a court date but without their vehicle.
