The Saskatoon Police say a woman is recovering from injuries she suffered while being unlawfully confined on Tuesday.
Around 8 p.m. last night, police were called to the 300 block of Montreal Avenue South after receiving a report from a woman that she had been unlawfully confined and assaulted.
Officers located the victim who had several non-life-threatening injuries. She did not wish to seek further medical attention and was treated on scene by paramedics.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit and Forensic Investigations Section are continuing to investigate.
