The Saskatoon Police Service says Tuesday afternoon they were called to a assault in progress and when officers arrived in the 1400 Block Avenue G North, a female victim had suffered several non life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the area before police arrived. Police say the victim and the suspect are not known to each other.

The suspect is described as approximately 6’2″, weighing 160-170lbs in his late 20’s to early 30’s. At the time of the assault, he was carrying a vacuum.
