All nine children who were on a school bus that collided with an SUV on Monday afternoon were treated in hospital for varying levels of injuries with none of those injuries described as life-threatening in nature.
Assiniboia RCMP are continuing to investigate the collision, with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist, which happened at the intersection of two rural gravel roads about 6.5 kilometres south of Rockglen.
The accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on Monday and because of the crash, the school bus rolled into the ditch.
Two men in the SUV did not report any serious injuries and the adult driver of the school bus suffered minor injuries.
Although the investigation is in its preliminary stages, RCMP say alcohol was not a factor in the accident. No additional information about any potential cause or details of the collision were available from the RCMP news release.
Rockglen is approximately 160 kilometres south of Moose Jaw.
