The Saskatoon Police Service says three people have been arrested in relation to an aggravated assault on Monday night.
Police were called to an assault in progress at 8:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of 33rd Street East. Updates coming in to officers indicated the suspects left in a vehicle headed towards 25th Street. Meanwhile police located a male victim suffering serious but non-life-threatening injuries and he was transported to hospital by paramedics.
A license plate number of the suspect vehicle was obtained from a witness, and it was tracked down a short time later.
After a high-risk traffic stop, two men aged 22 and 23 and a 21-year-old woman, are facing charges relating to aggravated assault while the 22-year-old man was also found to be in breach of court-ordered conditions in addition to having an outstanding warrant for a break and enter.
