A third person has been charged in the homicide of 42-year-old Christopher Joseyounen of Hatchet Lake First Nation.
On Tuesday, 37-year-old Jean St. Pierre of Wollaston Lake was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder. She appeared in Wollaston Lake Provincial Court on Thursday.
Two other women were previously charged in connection to the homicide.
Wollaston Lake RCMP responded to a report that someone had been seriously hurt around 6 p.m. last Saturday. When officers arrived at Hatchet Lake First Nation, the 42-year-old had been taken to the local clinic, where he was pronounced dead.
An RCMP news release says investigators learned that there had been an altercation between a group of people, and that’s when the victim was injured. Thirty-six-year-old Tricia St. Pierre of Hatchet Lake First Nation and 18-year-old Tinnisha Josie from Wollaston Lake are both also charged with second degree murder.
