Saskatoon police are looking for two suspects wanted into connection with a stabbing in the early morning hours of Canada Day in the downtown around 20th street and 2nd avenue. .

Police officers were flagged down by a group of men around 12:20am, who said a man had been stabbed. The man was taken to hospital with what were believed to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The victim said he was stabbed by a woman and a man who were trying to steal his bike. The woman was in her mid twenties with tatoos on her hand and one of her eyebrows. The man was about six feet tall, with short hair and no tatoos. One suspect was wearing a black hat while the other had a white hat.

The Serious Assault Unit is investigating.
