A 36-year-old Saskatoon woman faces charges of impaired driving and exceed .08 after being involved in a two-vehicle collision Thursday.
According to a Saskatoon Police Service news release, officers were called to the intersection of Avenue Q North and Rusholme Road just before Noon. Upon investigation, police determined that a northbound Chevy Equinox on Avenue Q failed to stop at a stop sign at Rusholme Road, striking a Kia Soul which was attempting to turn left onto Avenue Q. Officers determined the 36-year-old driver of the Equinox was impaired at the time. Both she and the 59-year-old driver of the Soul received minor injuries in the collision.
