On the golf courses…
The Saskatchewan Junior Women’s and Junior Men’s Golf Championships continue and wind up today in Yorkton. A total of 106 golfers from across the province, plus a few more from the prairie provinces, are taking part in the three-day, 54-hole stroke play event with spots on the line to qualify for national championships from this event. Today is the third day of 18 holes with tee times beginning at 7 a.m.
The 2024 Saskatoon Open men’s amateur golf tournament starts today and runs through tomorrow. The event is two days, 36 holes of stroke play with the first 18 holes today at the Riverside Country Club. Tee times begin at 12:30 p.m.
