The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority reported $346.6 million in gross revenue in 2023-24—an increase of $43 million from the previous fiscal year.
SIGA, as a non-profit corporation, reinvests all net revenue into three areas. Half of the money goes to the First Nations Trust (which is distributed to the 74 First Nations in the province). The other 50 per cent is split between Community Development Corporations and the provincial General Revenue Fund.
SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen says major strides have been made in enhancing its seven casino properties and growing its online gaming platform PlayNow.com
SIGA also contributes $2.5 million annual to the provincial First Nations Addictions and Rehabilitation Foundation.
