A local artist from Regina has been chosen to create a public art installation in Horizon Station Park.

Lionel Peyachew is an Indigenous artist whose work will explore the theme of railways in Saskatchewan, specifically the complicated histories and untold stories of the region’s railroads.

The project is part of the City’s commitment to expand opportunities for professional artists
working in the community, and it is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2025.
