Starting today, Major League Baseball is off for the annual All-Star break. The All-Star Game, proper, is set for tomorrow in Arlington, Texas, with the best of the American League entertaining the tops of the National League. First pitch is 6 p.m. Regular-season play resumes on Friday with all but two of the 30 teams in action. The Toronto Blue Jays will welcome the Detroit Tigers to Toronto Friday for a 5:07 p.m. first pitch.
