A 21-year-old Manitoba woman is dead following a single vehicle rollover on Sunday morning near the Red Earth Cree Nation.
Carrot River RCMP responded to a call at about 9 a.m. on July 14 about the rollover on Highway #55, approximately one kilometre east of the turn off to Red Earth Cree Nation. Officers, local fire and EMS responded to the scene. However, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was declared deceased by EMS. She was identified as being a 21-year-old female from the Opaskwayak Cree Nation in Manitoba. Her family has been notified. Carrot River RCMP, with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
