The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a fire in the city’s Forest Grove neighbourhood at 7:49 p.m. Monday night, arriving to find a duplex fully involved in fire and one unit of a second duplex also on fire.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m. Saskatoon Police issued an advisory to the public to stay clear of the area while firefighters fought the fire at the two homes.
Everyone inside evacuated safely from the duplexes in the 200 block of Gray Avenue and there were no injuries to residents or firefighters.
A fire investigator was on scene last night to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
