Saskatoon Police say one man was arrested after a robbery Thursday evening in the area of 10th Street East and Broadway Avenue.

Police were told that a man had a knife and tried to stab someone.

This was around 7:00 p.m. and the suspect had fled before officers arrived however the Air Support Unit spotted a suspect walking on a pathway near Saskatchewan Crescent and K9 units were directed to that location.

A suspect was arrested, and a 42-year-old man is facing charges in relation to assault with a weapon, uttering threats, obstructing police, possession of a weapon, and failure to comply with court ordered conditions.
