HRV Construction Limited is facing fines and surcharges totalling $95,000 after pleading guilty in North Battleford Provincial Court on July 29th of violating The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. The company was fined after an incident August 23, 2021 near North Battleford when two workers were seriously injured when trusses collapsed and fell onto them. Two other charges were withdrawn.

The Court imposed a fine of $14,285.71 with a $5,714.29 surcharge in the case of one worker and $53,571.43 with a $21,428.57 surcharge in the case of the second injured worker. The total fine was $95,000.
