Saskatchewan RCMP is looking for a 39-year-old man from Onion Lake Cree Nation, as he is wanted on several charges including assault causing bodily harm.

Valance Wapass is described as 6’2″ and 205 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. He has a large visible injury on his face, and he has his last name tattooed on his upper left arm and a feather tattooed on his left wrist. A photo of him is with this story online.

Wapass is known to travel to the communities of Thunderchild First Nation, Onion Lake Cree Nation, and Lloydminster. Police say he could be travelling in a white minivan.

If you see Valance Wapass, officers warn the public not to approach him and report his whereabouts to Saskatchewan RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
