Early Monday morning, around 2:10, Saskatoon Police responded to a report that people in a car had been shot at. Officers arrived to 22nd Street West and Avenue I North and report that the victims were found sitting in a vehicle with the passenger side window smashed. They said this happened while they were picking someone up from a home in the 300 block of Avenue I North.
Police went to the home and cleared it. The suspect wasn’t there, but a piece of a C02 pellet gun was found. Saskatoon Police report in a news release that officers believe this is what was used to shoot at the window of the car. The Serious Assault Unit is investigating.
