The Saskatoon Police Service says a 59-year-old man was stabbed and hit with a golf club after getting into an altercation Monday evening.
Police were called around 6:00 p.m. to the 2900 block of 21st Street West to a report of an injured person. The victim said he was in a fight with one suspect when a second male waded in and started to assault him.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The first suspect is described as male, wearing light clothing, a backpack, possibly a grey tank top, and grey sweatpants. He described the second suspect as a shorter male wearing dark clothing and possibly a ball cap.
