On average across Saskatchewan, gas prices are down 4.6 cents a litre at $1.59.3, according to the website GasBuddy.com. In Saskatoon, the average price of gas fell 9.1 cents a litre in the past week, averaging at $1.58.68 cents a litre on Sunday. The national average for the week is $1.56.31 cents a litre, which is 3.7 cents lower than last week. Head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, Patrick De Haan says, “Falling gas prices will likely continue most weeks as we move into fall.” He adds that prices could potentially drop another 10 to 25 cents a litre over the next few months.
