The Saskatoon Blades continue their 2024-25 Western Hockey League training camp today, running through tomorrow, at SaskTel Centre. A total of 77 players have been split into four groups-slash-teams, with scrimmage games at 10 and 11:30 a.m., 4:15 and 5:45 p.m. The Bridge City Bunch open their pre-season schedule on Wednesday in Prince Albert against the Raiders. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre. The Blue and Gold play a home pre-season game on Sunday, September 8th against the Brandon Wheat Kings. Game time is 4 p.m. at SaskTel Centre with CJWW’s broadcast beginning at 3:45 p.m. Saskatoon opens their 61st regular-season as a franchise and the 59th W-H-L campaign on Friday, September 20th when they visit the Swift Current Broncos. CJWW’s broadcast starts at 6:45 p.m. and the play-by-play at 7 o’clock. The Blades’ regular-season home opener is on Saturday, September 21st against Swift Current. First face-off is 7 p.m. at SaskTel Centre with CJWW’s broadcast beginning at 6:45 p.m. and the play-by-play at 7 p.m.
The Prince Albert Raiders open their 2024-25 W-H-L regular-season on Friday, September 20th when they host the Regina Pats. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre.
