A 15-year-old girl has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following an assault at a Saskatoon high school.

At 12:30 today, police received emergency calls stating that an assault and fire had taken place at an address consistent with Evan Hardy Collegiate.

A School Resource Officer, who was already at the school for a different matter, took the 14-year-old female suspect into custody immediately.

The investigation continues.
