When September rolls around, City crews begin the annual winterization of the 480 irrigation systems in Saskatoon parks and along roadway streetscapes.
The work began September 1st, and the city says to ensure public safety, residents are asked to follow all signage at work sites and stay clear of the sprinkler heads and any related winterization equipment during maintenance.
The process is expected to take seven weeks.
