Tomorrow the University of Saskatchewan is hosting Giving Day to raise funds for its Be What the World Needs campaign, which is set to wrap up next spring. A USask news release says each Giving Day donation will go towards leading critical research, designing visionary spaces, supporting Indigenous achievement, and inspiring student success.
USask president and vice-chancellor, Peter Stoicheff, says, “Giving Day is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the collective impact our USask community can have. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help take us across the campaign finish line and advance our vision to be the university the world needs.” All donations on Tuesday have the opportunity to be matched, thanks to Scott and Grit McCreath, Greg and Rae Smith, Cheryl Hamelin, and the Engineering Advancement Trust.
