In recognition of Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day, flags at all City of Saskatoon facilities are flying at half-mast for the day.
The Memorial Day for Police and Peace Officers is recognized annually on the last Sunday of September, to pay tribute to the hard work, dedication and sacrifice officers have made for the safety of Canadians.
The flags at half-mast are to honour police and peace officers killed in the line of duty.
