The residents and law enforcement of Prince Albert are collaborating to enhance community safety through the Safe Neighbourhood Camera Registry.

Residents who wish to take part in the nation-wide program will be able to register their outward-facing security cameras with the Prince Albert Police Service. After doing so, the footage captured by their cameras could be used in police investigations should an incident occur in their area.

The City of Prince Albert reminds residents that upon registering, the Prince Albert Police Service cannot access your camera without consent. At any point, consent can be withdrawn, and residents are also not obligated to hand over footage of their feeds if asked.
