Coming up this afternoon, the University of Saskatchewan is inviting everyone to a public lecture on climate change.
Renowned historian, journalist and author Gwynne Dyer interviewed the world’s top 100 climate scientists, and the result is his latest book, Intervention Earth.
He spoke with the experts about what needs to be done to counter the irreversible effects of climate change.
Dyer will share what he learned and propose some options.
The lecture is from 3 to 5 this afternoon in the Henry Taube Lecture Theatre, also known as the Airplane Room in the Thorvaldsen building.
It’s called the Airplane Room because of all the paper airplanes stuck in the ceiling over the years.
