Two people have been arrested in relation to two separate CO2 firearm investigations by Saskatoon Police over the weekend. Around 9 p.m. Saturday night, police were told of a domestic dispute happening in an alley in the 2800 block of Rusholme Road in the Mount Royal neighbourhood. When they arrived the suspect and the victims were located and a 17-year-old boy was detained. Police say he had a CO2 firearm. He is facing charges related to carrying and concealing a weapon.
Then Sunday night around 8:40, police responded to the 2200 block of 22nd Street West and were told a man had a gun. Officers found and detained a suspect in the area and when he was searched, police report a CO2 firearm was found. A 21-year-old man is facing charges related to possession of a weapon and concealing a weapon.
