Saskatoon Police responded to three bear spray incidents on Wednesday. In each, the suspect or suspects fled before police arrived. The first incident was in the 2100 block of 22nd Street West just before 3:30 in the afternoon. A man was found suffering from the effects of bear spray and was treated by paramedics on scene.
Around 5:40, officers were called to the 1300 block of 22nd Street West where a male had been bear sprayed and then around 11:30 that night, there was a report of an injured woman in the 300 block of Avenue C South. She told police she had been bear sprayed near the basketball courts by the river. Both the second and third victim said they didn’t need medical care.
