There’s been a cougar sighting in Lloydminster. RCMP say its detachment was contacted just after midnight and the cougar was last seen in the area of 33rd Street and 45th Avenue in Lloydminster.
Saskatchewan Conservation officers advise the public to not approach nor feed the cougar. All pets should remain indoors when possible and only go outside under supervision.
Anything that might attract the big cat like food or garbage should be kept inside or put away as best as posible. Keep fences and doors closed and locked.
If you see the cougar you are asked to contact the RCMP so they can better track its movements.
