It was another record-breaking autumn day for weather in Saskatchewan on Wednesday.
Environment Canada says above normal temperatures were felt again yesterday over parts of southern Saskatchewan leading to a few records being broken. Broadview has a new record daytime high of 26.1 degrees, Coronach’s new record is 28.3 degrees, and Yorkton has a new daytime high for October 9th at 25.1 degrees Celsius.
In addition, Estevan was the hotspot in the province and in the country on Wednesday with a daytime high of 28.6 degrees.
According to Environment Canada, the following areas set a daily maximum temperature record on October 9, 2024 (temperature values given in degrees Celsius):
