Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating a suspicious death in the Bell’s Point area of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. La Ronge RCMP responded around noon Thursday to a report of a death at a home. A news release from the RCMP says due to the circumstances of the incident, Major Crimes is investigating the man’s death, which is considered suspicious. The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is assisting in the investigation.

The man has been identified and his family is being notified. Anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the Bell’s Point area between October 7th and 10th is asked to contact the police.
