Two people who tested positive for COVID-19 died in Saskatchewan in the reporting period between September 8th and October 5th.
That’s according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s latest Community Respiratory Illness Surveillance Program report (CRISP).
Since March of 2020, the report says there have been 2,070 COVID-related deaths.
During the reporting period, 269 people were admitted to hospital with COVID, five with the flu, four with RSV and four with other respiratory illnesses.
Of those, 20 people with COVID, two with RSV and one with a different respiratory illness were admitted to an ICU.
