The Saskatoon Police Service says officers responded to yet another violent incident on a Saskatoon City bus Tuesday around 2:45 p.m.
Alternative Response Officers who were patrolling the area arrived and found a bus parked in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue North were a woman was inside and described as acting erratically. All the other passengers riding the bus had gotten off. One woman was arrested after breaking a window on a city bus and committing an assault yesterday afternoon.
The police investigation found that two females, age 19 and 17, were on the bus when an unknown woman approached them and began verbally and physically assaulting them before throwing a cup of bodily fluids onto them. According to police the woman also broke a rear window. The victims were not physically harmed
A 29-year-old Saskatoon woman has been charged with two counts of assault, mischief over $5,000 and breach of court-imposed conditions.
