Market Mall and the Saskatchewan Woodworkers Guild are partnering in a Halloween themed event to raise money for Make-a-Wish Canada.
Pumpkins with Purpose is Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the skills of the Saskatchewan Woodworkers Guild will be displayed with intricately carved pumpkins available for purpose.
Each beautifully designed pumpkin will be sold for a set price, and all proceeds will go directly to Make-A-Wish. You will also get to see the craftmanship of the woodworkers in real time with live carving of the pumpkins.
Pumpkins with a Purpose takes place in the Food Court at Market Mall.
On their website Make a Wish Canada says wishes can help children find the strength they need to fight critical illnesses. Some of the wishes that have been granted include being GM of the Toronto Raptors, having an adaptive bike, going to Walt Disney World® Resort, having a backyard play area and meeting NBA superstar Stephen Curry.
