October’s oil and natural gas public offering netted just over $7 million 300 thousand for the province, down over $3.7 million from last year’s October offering.
This month, ninety-three of the 112 parcels posted received bids, covering a total 15,347 hectares.
The Estevan region generated the most revenue at over $5 million 400 thousand for 56 leases and one exploration licence for a total of 8,330 hectares.
Last year Kindersley generated the most cash flow, collecting $5,800,000 for 20 leases and two exploration licenses totaling 7,591 hectares.
The next offering is scheduled for December 3, 2024.
